Theoretical Investigation of Anthropology in Terms of Suhrewardi and Educational Inferences Related to the Improvement of the Goals in Iran's Education System

Abstract

Since man is the most important output of the educational system, certainly, human recognitition and addressing the fundamentals of anthropology from different perspectives especially Muslim scholars can play a role in improving the education system components such as the principles, methods and goals of education . Accordingly the main objective of this research is reviewing the fundamentals of anthropology (contemplation, , theism, perfectionism and  intercommunity) from the perspective of “Suhrawardi”  and educational inferences to  improve educational goals in “Iran”.
This study  performed  with an applied descriptive research method with analytical population included all  available “Suhrawardi's works” and accessible writings of other scholars  related to  “Suhrawardi's ideas” which is in correspondence to  analytical sample. So no  sample selection is done.
Data were gathered by  taking  notes on cards from library information and then  benchmark analysis of arguments and  citations  has been  performed.
As a result, based on the “Suhrawardi’s anthropological view” , the ways to improve the country's educational goals are : reasoning and thinking training , creativity and  judgment  development, and not  focusing on mere memorizing .  Moreover  for theism approach  it would be suggested to raise  self awareness , moral virtues  and refinement.  Perfectionism also would be achieved  by  religious observance and  finally attainment  intercommunity would be  through increasing cooperation morale, tolerance  and  responsibility.
