The problem of pedagogy always considered by philosophers and scholars, one of the most important issues. Nowadays, different perspectives toward this problem covers different concerns such as pragmatism and post-modernism in his realm. One of these most important notifications of post-modernism concern is the rise of critical thinking in pedagogy.
Henry Giroux, a post-modernism theorist, tried to present a kind of pedagogy in which politics, morality, and culture are of great importance.
This study searches to find out this movement’s implications for the pedagogical aims and principles and also the roles of teachers and students by studying critical theory of Henry Giroux and his critical pedagogy through a descriptive-analytical research.
